The Challenge

Krispy Kreme currently supplies over 800 large supermarket, café and service station concession outlets across the UK with fresh doughnuts in bespoke liveried display cabinets.

The client was looking to make savings on maintenance costs and we had the opportunity to propose a solution for more efficient and cost-effective maintenance.

The Solution

We agreed a reactive maintenance plan, incorporating a fixed call-out fee and supply of parts required to carry out necessary repairs.

We also agreed to retrofit any fluorescent units with LEDs.

The Outcome

  • The units are kept lit and the doughnuts look fresh and appetising
  • The reactive maintenance plan ensures a reduced maintenance burden; vans are stocked with repair parts for first-time fix; there is UK nationwide coverage by qualified electricians
  • Expert advice and dedicated UK call centre service
  • LED technology already installed, now 95% of lighting ensures energy savings are being maximised
  • And a client happy to have found a company “big enough to cope but small enough to care”.
